ATTENTION: USAPBR needs foster homes to start up this rescue organization. You can foster in any part of the US. USAPBR
provides medical care, heartworm preventative, sometimes a crate (depending on location) and on going support for training.

USA Pit Bull Rescue ia an all volunteer organization
dedicated to saving the lives of homeless Pit Bull Dogs and placing them in qualified homes. USAPBR does not have a shelter
and depends on the generosity of the people who offer to foster dogs in their homes. USAPBR volunteers do not receive pay
for their help and all money raised by fund-raisers, donations and adoptions go directly to benefit USAPBR rescue companion
pets.
We are currently working on our non-profit status.
Our Mission
Our Mission Statement
1. To provide veterinary care, foster home care and adoption of unwanted, unclaimed and
stray companion pets.
2. To provide advice and assistance to those wanting to place unwanted companion pets in new homes.
3. To provide education on the proper care of companion pets.
4. To encourage responsible companion pet ownership.
5. To encourage the spaying and neutering of all companion pets.
6. The organization shall not be operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainder or residue from donations
to the organization shall benefit any member or individual.
7. To reunite lost companion pets with owners.
8. Work in conjunction with other rescue groups to help any companion pet find a suitable home.

Volunteers Needed
Off-site Adoption Team
Talk with prospective adopters while they choose a new companion, helping
them find a Pit Bull that fits their lifestyle. Explain the policies and procedures of adopting from USAPBR and have
them fill out an adoption application.
Rescue Foster Care Team
Work directly with animal
shelters and individuals needing to surrender their Pit Bull Dog. Assist in the coordination of long term and temporary rescue
foster care.
Rescue Foster Home
Provide temporary in-home care for Pit Bull Dogs while
waiting for their furever home.
Fundraising
Assist with designing and implementing fundraising
programs. Organized individuals with fundraising experience, community speaking and program planning experience needed.
Good phone skills and professional attitude required.
Office
Assist with office duties from
home including answering emails, phone calls, process applications, and assist in various mailings.
Marketing
and Public Relations Team
Help get USA Pit Bull Rescue's Mission Statement out into the community. Experience
in writing press releases, contacting local media and coordinating marketing campaigns needed.
Writers,
Graphic Design and Web Design
Professionals needed for a variety of writing opportunities. Graphic artists
in demand for brochure and logo design, website and fundraising items. Web designers to assist in maintaining our web site.
Legal
Seeking an attorney, paralegal or someone with the ability to set-up a non-profit organization
needed ASAP!
